Educators are role models who act ethically and honestly.
Educators act with integrity, maintaining the dignity and credibility of the profession. They understand that their individual conduct contributes to the perception of the profession as a whole. Educators are accountable for their conduct while on duty, as well as off duty, where that conduct has an effect on the education system. Educators have an understanding of the education system in BC and the law as it relates to their duties.

This piece of evidence is an infographic my classmate and I created for our class - Instructional Design: Application of Education Technology at Vancouver Island University. The tool we used to create this infographic was Piktochart. This infographic compares qualities of teachers to qualities of superheroes, speaking directly to the BC TRB Standard #2.
Insights Gained
While creating this infographic, I learned how to use images and words to represent information in a visually appealing way. This assignment also gave me great insight on how to work and use Piktochart which I think will benefit me in the future.
Connection to Teaching Practice
As future educators, it is important we become familiar with different tools we can use in our teaching. I think it is also important that we strive to be superheroes in our student's lives. This artifact shows my understanding that teachers are like superheroes and should work hard at being the best role models for our students.
